- Be Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver or equivalent
- Have completed a Padi Emergency First Response (EFR) or equivalent first aid and CPR course in the past 24 months
- Have recorded 40 dives
- Have had a medical examination with a qualified doctor in the last 12 months and be allowed to dive
Becoming a Divemaster means entering the professional world of scuba diving. It is a recognized professional qualification, whose certification allows the supervision of certified divers.
Working closely with your instructor, you will expand your knowledge of diving theory and refine your techniques to a professional level.
Divemaster holders are examples of technical skills, they know the dive sites perfectly, give briefings, guide certified divers, assist instructors, provide safety on the surface as well as underwater and can also direct some programs.
